Cheapet Photoshop Life

Well I still continued working on my shoe dispersion effect I found it difficult make the image organic still. So i decided to look up a video to see what was the problem with my project. After 5 mins watching it I realized I didn't do a cut out of shoe at the end. Then add the effect to make more immerse in the shoe. So decided to try it out, and it helped a lot making more natural. Now to decide on the placement of scatter, and angles. Then it would be a wrap on this one. Expect a double blog tomorrow or even more Go Jets!                                                      Before: After:

So today was still to continue my shoe adding new styles, and downloading brushes to test. Yet I didn't feel like I had a lot of progression with work so I went to ask Mrs.Ross my previous media arts teacher for help. She said that what was the purpose of the photo. I told her I was unsure than gave me advice that should consider the effect. Rather putting a bunch of splats on the screen. So she suggested I should do a effect where a gun blast through it, and creates a explosion in the back. The heel at first should be more full, and onward it begins to shrink, and splatter. So took that advice to the heart, and consider the placement of my splats, and making my work organic as possibly.                Inspiration:

Today kept working on my shoe manipulation project I followed a video. Yet most the instructions were complicated also the speed was a bit overwhelming. So deiced to incorporate some ideas from the video like the background, and create my own shoe. I still need to figure out what brush would work best for the project also how to smooth out the shoe. Yet here is what I got for now. Also expect a triple or double blog post as I try to grind out more projects with the best quality I can produce.

Well today i have to come to realize I am very far behind in my work. With only 2 weeks left, and 4 projects done this is a little concerning. Yet I move on forward from this today I chose to a cool shoe manipulation where I kind a add splatter effect. I hope it will turn great, and I can move on from this, and try to truck through. Today i spent nearly the entire class taking photos for my next project, but I faced two problems. One today is was really bright out side so couldn't capture many good shots. Since Jake skin is on the pale side he gets lost in the photo. Secondly all the photos I took were blurry as hell. I don't know if there was something wrong with my eyesight. This might be the worst photo shoot yet, but it happens so I move on. I will be better I can count on that. I know there is only a couple of weeks left, and I have to work overdrive. Yet I have a lot of other work to do so I have to learn to balance my classes. To maximum all my class time, and at home. Here are the failures of today.

For next project I chose to a photo manipulation with a light bulb. It was really easy since method i chose was with a layer mask. I will find ways to keep elevating  the project more by adding background or a scenery to go with the light bulb. It still rough around the edges but work is till be had.

Today I spent nearly entire class figuring out why my brush was not working on my dumb layer mask. Then I come to realize I was using a white brush on a white background god. Sorry lord just really frustrated. The overall effect turn out not expected. It's still rough around the edges, and doesn't have true feel of the effect. The problem for this is the type of brush that i use. I wasn't able to angle it also i couldn't bring out its pop. I will come back to this later with a different brush to touch it up. Also there will be a surprise in store just you wait.
